Bio
"I have always tried to have an integration in relation to what I like to do and reality, not having as a reference only what comes to me. Respecting this particularity, I began to draw and paint, because it was a childhood passion and I adopted Graffiti, an urban language that along with Hip Hop claims and seeks solutions to social problems, which reflects my reality.
Living in S. Paulo, where I began to make Graffiti, until then in the traditional way, did not spend much time to feel the need to make drawings that were linked more with my reality, such as samba and African cults.
I came close to the Brazilian culture and one of its basic peoples, the African, where I could value even more the importance of African culture in the case of Brazil.
Seeing the impact of my work, I realized that what was my passion adapted to my reality, could also arouse feelings, and more than adapt, transform and intervene in the reality of the people who came into contact with this work.
This reality was transformative, because it gave me an ambition that goes beyond the fact of having exhibitions and work with an aesthetic appreciated by art critics, and the desire to transform through these interventions into realities that intersect with mine, composing a society.
I believe in the role of art as a tool of transformation, which enables this direct intervention to the human being, which opens horizons and transcends, in many vital aspects, in a real and accessible way to all.
So today I develop my art in favor of social work, being another tool for building knowledge "
